5-2 Removing the Chassis Cover

Removing the Chassis Cover

Remove the two screws securing the cover to the sides of the chassis.1.

Remove the two screws securing the cover to the back of the chassis.2.

Slide the cover toward the rear of the chassis3.

Lift the cover off the chassis.4.

Warning: Except for short periods of time, do NOT operate the

server without the cover in place. The chassis cover must be in

place to allow proper airow and prevent overheating.
