Use the following rules when connecting this backplane:

C #1 corresponds with SAS ports #0, #1, #2, and #3. I

C #2 corresponds

with SAS ports #4, #5, #6, and #7. If you connect the SAS ports out of

order, you will not able to easily identify drives using the LED function.

JP51 (Sideband #1) corresponds with SAS ports #0, #1, #2, and #3. JP52

(Sideband #2) corresponds with SAS ports #4, #5, #6, and #7. If you connect

the SAS ports out of order, you will not able to easily identify drives using the

LED function.
